Job Description:

To support campus operations during the summer by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities while preparing all campus spaces for the upcoming academic year. This role plays a key part in ensuring residence halls, event spaces, and common areas are fully ready for student move-in and university events.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Daily cleaning of public areas and restrooms
• Deep cleaning and turnover of residence hall rooms
• Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet extraction
• Trash and recycling removal
• Window and surface cleaning
• Assist with event setups and teardowns
• Moving furniture and equipment for summer projects and events
• Assist with special projects throughout the summer as assigned

• Currently enrolled student at NCU; or have graduated in May of the current year
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
• Ability to safely use basic cleaning equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable and punctual with a consistent work ethic
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to take direction
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Completion of required online training course

• Work environment includes frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
• Work may take place indoors and outdoors depending on assignment
• Tasks may involve repetitive motion
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• On-the-job training provided for all equipment and cleaning procedures

Time of Hours: 8am-4:30pm
